Responsible Choices:
Deciding not SlidingTM
No amount of knowledge can overcome bad decision making. Many problems in relationships stem from
people failing even to recognize that a decision could be made at key points of transition. People slide into all kinds of situations,
relationships, and behaviors that cause difficulties in the present and close off opportunities in the
future. It does not have to be this way. People can learn how to be more deliberative
at the most crucial moments in relationships. That's what PREP's Responsible
Choices module is designed to help you teach.
PREP's
Responsible Choices TOOB is designed to help you teach relationship education participants (or counseling
clients) a model for making wise and responsible choices using the Sliding vs. DecidingTM
framework. The TOOB consists of lesson content and two copies of the
Responsible Choices Tool. The Responsible Choices Tool is
a four page, full color work-sheet that your participants use to apply the
lesson to their own life. (The Tool
will be much like the Primary Colors Personality Tool developed by Dawn Billings
and sold and published by PREP.)
This TOOB was developed by Natalie Jenkins, vice president of PREP, using the core model in PREP's
Sliding vs. Deciding framework.
Available late Spring 2009.
If you would like to be notified by email when the Responsible Choices
TOOB can be ordered, please send an email to
info@PREPinc.com and put "responsible choices" in the subject line.
The Responsible
Choices Tool will be sold singly, or in packages of 10.
